Tuition and Fees

Venmo is preferred, but I will also accept cash and checks.  Tuition is due the first lesson of the month.  A $10 late fee will be added to late payments.  The cost of lessons is $50/hour plus $10/month.  I charge a flat monthly fee and reconcile in December and June. 

Monthly Tuition

Early Book 1 30 minute lessons: $100

Late Book 1-Book 2 30-45 minute lessons: $100-$150

Book 3 45 minute lessons: $150

Book 4 45-60 minute lessons: $150-$200 

Book 5+ 60 minute lessons: $200

Tuition is based on a 12 month program of lessons, group lessons, master class, rehearsals, and recitals.  Tuition also includes membership in the Suzuki Association of Utah and an annual theory book.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Suzuki Association of Utah: As a teacher member of the SAU all my students are required to be members of the SAU.  The cost is $30 per family.  This pays for your quarterly newsletters, SAU graduation, activities, and the spring parent convention in April.  After the first year these dues are included in your tuition.

Federation: This is an optional performance opportunity around the same time as the Spring solo recital.  I will collect the entry fee in January.  

Music: You must purchase all of the music we will use throughout the year.  I have a list of the music we will be learning.  You will purchase (from me or on your own) the books you may need for technique and exercises throughout the year.
