-Do not help teach the lesson

-Do not make negative facial expressions or comments/outbursts

-Do not compare one child to the next

-Do not get too many children involved, if you don’t have the time

-Do not get angry

-Do not do all the work. It is your child’s project – let them carry their violin and get out and put away their violin

-Do not constantly discipline child during the lesson. Leave this to the teacher
